Tina Reber created a character you wished you could be. Sympathise, laugh and cringe with, those are the types of characters you will find in Love Unscripted.

4 stars –  I really liked it, it was great!

SYNOPSIS

Nursing a recent heartbreak Taryn Mitchell isn’t looking for a new love, but it seems love is looking for her. Under unusual circumstances, Taryn Mitchell comes face-to-face with A-list movie star, Ryan Christensen and soon romance starts to stick its head in. As their unusual relationship grows, so do their emotions- will the media, paparazzi and Ryan crazy fans get between them?
These contemporary romance/chick-lit books are the  first two installments in the ‘Love’ series, these novel leaves you wanting more.

OPINION

These novels were really enjoyable. They kept me entertained throughout the entire plot without any lapses in pace. The characters were fun to get involved with and allowed me to connect with their feelings and emotions- when Taryn cried, I felt like crying and when she thought Ryan was terrible I couldn’t help but feel the same way. The snippets of the supporting characters lives were entertaining and light enough to carry me through darker sides of the story.
Love Unscripted is written in Taryn’s point of view which allowed me to form and even stronger connection to her character, especially since she struggles with issues most people do, like trust and insecurities, though hers are as a result of the constant hounding the media provides. Ryan is given honest feelings and issues to deal with too, making his life and work seem less glamorous and more of a chore.
These books are great reads if you want characters who are more relatable than most or if you’re after an unlikely romance, especially if you’re crushing on a celebrity at the moment!
